It's Day 29 ! We're almost there. :)

I love this picture! This is my DofE team and we called ourselves 'The Unit'. We simply were the best! We finished first and the feeling was amazing! We pushed through the hardships and got past all the obstacles put in front of us and we made it! We ran through rain and hail to the finish point and we were rewarded with wooden spoons (I'll explain later) and soda! It was epic! (excuse the cheesy-ness.) Old friendships were mended, new friendships were made and I think it's safe to say that this experience will keep us friends for life. And of course our team would be nothing without our team leader! She honestly was just the best! She is an amazing, funny and extremely kind hearted person who cared and supported us no matter what happened.
Before leaving on our trek we were each appointed one person in our team (yes we did pick names out of a hat) that we had to observe closely and present at our final dinner together. So after we arrived from our trek we were given wooden spoons that we had to design and decorate to give to our appointed team mate after the presentation. It was fun decorating the spoons but it was not fun having to present first. But, thanks to my amazing drama skills (I wish) I managed to pull through and get it done!
